Hi, Friends....

I'm here with a sweet card I made as a last-minute entry for the Winnie & Walter Rerun #23 Challenge - Tree for all Seasons. I don't have the rerun set, so I drew inspiration from a couple of the fabulous cards featured on that post: the colors from Heather's gorgeous card and the springy feel to one of Kelly's cards. Aren't they beautiful!!!

I also am linking this up to Darnell's NBUS #12 Challenge where she asks us to use some Never Before Used Schtuff that we have in our stash. I ordered these wee pastel buttons a few months ago not having any idea how verrrrrrrrrrry tiny they are (perhaps "micro-mini" in the product description should have given me a clue!!! lol....)....so there they sat NBUS-ing in my stash. Turns out that they are the perfect size for "blossoms" in my tree today!

Supplies used include:
Winnie & Walter - Essentials: Katharine Cutaways die set
Winnie & Walter - Kindness with Evelin T Designs stamp set
Versafine Ink - Smokey Gray
Ranger - TH Distress Markers
Dress It Up Micro-Mini Button Mix - Innocence
Ranger - Multi Medium Matte
Sheet from my stack of "Leftover Easter Egg Dye Backgrounds" on mixed media paper
Hope you enjoyed a little break from autumn colors to take a peek at what our friends in the Southern Hemisphere are getting to see right now! Thank you so much for stopping by!!!

  5. OH MY GOODNESS!! Janis, this card is absolutely charming and those teeny buttons couldn't be more perfect. LOVE the colors you used ..and I recognized that Easter egg dye paper immediately, ha! As for the cat lasagna...I don't know that I'd have the heart to remove this kitty from his bed. I'd go ahead and order pizza instead and let her sleep!
